Havent blogged in a wee while as i’ve been busy training and getting ready for the Raf/army.. but i’ll hit the keyboard later this week sometime.

I’ve been asking myself how i’m surving on literraly no money at all but if i get in the millitary i’ll soon be paying of debts and getting back to a stress free life. watch this space!

I thought it would be a nifty idea if i created a new take on the basic band advertisment/poster……. a moving one via adobe after effects. hope you like?

With some help from VC i followed a tutorial on how to Create the effect of a 3D ring, and i added some particles, and rendered these badboys. If you want high res versions, just ask for the link

This video and song has pretty much summed up how i feel and have felt for the past week, the depth and courage of this song’s sound is just fantastic, its quite hard not to like it! I love how derelict the settings are and how easy it is to be incapulated by the sound and combination of the murky clarity of the snow, i think the random cut aways dont really install any kind of real narative, but still makes for a good watch!

So, I’m sat here realizing why I ran upstairs, despite Jeremy paxons take on the victorian art movement being so initially boring, its because I’m in the mood to relax in an interesting way, via wordpress!

I’m running my much needed bath, as for lack of a better term, I need a frickin steamy one, nope, not a poo, a bath, I feel like I have not had a rest in ages and this would be the perfect way to let my hair down, sorta speak. Its been a hectick week, I now officially travel 6-7 miles on a daily basis and that’s by leaving the house twice a day, once by running and the second by cycling, I enjoy the biking side of things much more, as you get to sit down on the hills, where as if I were running down a hill I would look rather much like what a moose would look like if its personality had been transferred into a humans body, and it was dealing with adapting to the new unique circumstances, yep, kinda silly I know, but so what I need to feel silly in order to try and regain the feelings that I once had, before I started the de-humanising prospect of intensely exercising everyday, I need that daftness back in my system, so I thought I’d share what little john-ness I had left in this blog, for this week.

I’m rekindling all my love affairs with technology at the moment, just in time for the new series of the gadget show on chanel 5, oh the joys, and I’m not being sarcastic there.. I actually love everthing there is to do with gadgets, the 3 magazines I buy are ‘Stuff’, ‘MacFormat’ and ‘Nuts’…….what, it still has gadgets in it? Pointless me putting this as you whom know me probably already know me, know that I’m a techy… not a treky,, ahem!

Moving on, I’ve also been hitting the weights kinda hard this week, and will continue to do so for the next couple of years, I’ve got the guns pumped and i have a new best friend, endorphins, screw alcohol, these badboys are naturally produced and feel awesome, I can now see how some blokes end up buff as f*ck,, its kinda hard to stop.. getting some nice definition too.

Other random pointless news, I had a dream last night that had this weird nicky Clarke style haircut with a beard/stubble……… essentially I was nick Clarke so I’m not gunna shave for a week and see what I look like =] .

So heres a little sample of a rough idea i had, influenced by the intro from billy conolly’s edge of the world. That intro blows me away everytime and i cant help but feel, that i can do something along the lines of that style of editing. Obviously it was done with AE, so i shall be hunting down peoples pics and things to stick into the montage. I spent about half an hour on this draft, looking to spend a fair amont of time on the final product/ ellemt for the montage. =]
